  1. Yup, better they get another car. the current car is getting too old and unreliable. Its different if you are handy with a wrench and do simple stuff. A car is a depreciating asset and especially when you get hit with a garage bill of $1K. Even, general wear and tear, suspension, brakes and servicing. However, we are not in the same position as you guys. You guys dont have a working public transport system. With us, its either take the car or get a bus or train, both are equal. Sometimes its easier getting the train or bus than take a car.
