  1. Like every industry, the farmers must adapt or go under. The EU have specific quotas for each country, Unfortunately for French farmers, it is the Spanish farmers that feeds the whole of Europe with vegetables. If the French farmers cannot adapt or diversify they go under like every other industry. Someone will buy the land and make it profitable. The French farmers are taking the easy road, complain instead of doing. Sell up and go do something else.

  2. Adapt or sell up. It is simple. The fishing industry was decimated, the farming industry must change to a new World as well. The farmers are taking the easy option, blockades, strikes, we seen it all before. If they cannot manage their business then they should leave.
