  1. I dont think you are a geologist at all. They have been signing the 'sweet spot song' since the 1970's, indeed they were giving dates when the oil would run out at that time. I am a geologist, and no geologist would say the stuff you are saying. The US oil industry is pretty minor compared the the rest of the World. You also fail to mention that oil recovery rates from reservoirs are around 50%. Which means that half the oil in ALL the reservoirs still exists. You fail to mention that OPEC+ has TWICE cut back on production over the past 2 months to keep oil prices high and ruin the US economy for its treatment of Russia. If energy prices spike, it is not because of geology, IT IS POLITICAL. Yup, your statement tells me you are NOT a geologist.
