  1. It is 2008 all over again with Sub Prime Mortgages. That is why Blackstone Mortgage trust is collapsing. Only, THIS TIME it is NOT RE Sub-Prime. it is CRE Sub-Prime that is pulling the US financial system into oblivion. Every time you get de-regulation in the banking industry, the banks get greedy ands collapse. The 200 or so small banks that are exposed and about to collapse will trigger something BIGGER than the GFC of 2008. QT has done its deed. It is wiping out the inefficient small banks that did NOT do due diligence. Many small businesses will fold as the banks are wiped out. Other banks will pick up the loans from the wipe-out for peanuts and force small businesses to pay their debt entirely. That is when unemployment goes into double figures. That is when wages drop by 50% and RE hits the floor.
