  1. Wasn't it Dimon that said a few months ago that mortgage rates could go to 10% this year and people thought he was on drugs or something? Well, its shaping up to be a conservative estimate. Don't even try and reply with 18% mortgage rates in the 1970's or 80's, that is meaningless. When you got 18% on a mortgage that is $30,000, it is peanuts. It is NOTHING compared to a mortgage at 10% on a $500,000 property today. This is getting interesting.... When the FED sorted out Signature or whatever they bailed out, Grandma Yellen said the contagion was stopped, her face said different.
