  7. so the answer is to let unused areas of the underpasses remain unused? i bet if some fancy rich person came along to make parks under the overpasses every council member would jump on that to get their face and name in the paper and on the news for supporting it but if it is for the houseless all of a sudden they come on tv with the "not in my back yard" speech" i call for one of these politicians to do the right thing and develop the unused areas under the overpasses into shelters

  13. if you are going to charge a child as an adult, then let the rest of the states laws reflect it as well. if you want to try a 15 or 16 or 17 yr old child as adult, then make them adults by state law, and lower the age of adulthood

  32.  @simply_miki  no one is forcing anything on anyone, other than the religious forcing their beliefs into law s all across the country. if there is a drag show , you are choosing to attend. same as with a concert or anything else. you personally make to choice to attend or not. people need to start with their own personal responsibility. there was never this much hate around gay people 20 years ago. in fact it was often flaunted and sought after by those who went both ways. it is a very simple thing mind your own business and live your life. i assume you are a person of faith, do you think others have or share the same faith as you? it is personal i would assume. then keep it that way. for some reason the community in general just want to be treated like everyone else. it is only the religious right who are forcing their personal religious belief onto others, and that is not right. i would tell those people. let he who is without sin cast the first stone
