  1. everyone sees the same thing. corporations around the nation and the heads of those corporations getting richer and richer, all the while politicians keep giving them tax breaks over and over which hurts the very communities they get their workers from . these tax dollars fund everything around us but yet people ignorantly turn a blind eye to what is in their best interest, instead they hop on the first bandwagon that tells them what they want to hear . Louisiana has been a deep red republican state almost since its inception, but yet people still vote for politicians that pass laws that are hurting them. the constant talk of personal responsibility, then in the same breath they pass laws that take away the responsibility of parents. to keep children safe. if they wanted to keep children safe, imagine the tax dollars that have been given away actually being used to hire more police officers with pay high enough to actually make them want to come work here in the city .
