however the majority of the radio reporting that you could get was about new Orleans." only a few miles east it could have been worse" oh im so damn sorry that there are more people in the state than new Orleans its self. hey Archie we had water here in Lafourche parish and have the pictures to prove it. all the local hotels were full of workers so there were some that had no place to go. those hotels didn't even have generators to power those hotels. now the levee district come in the "build up " the levees we do have , and all they did was cut into the existing levee to build up only one side of it, when we were told more dirt would be brought in to build up the levee. which it wasn't. so we here along HWY 307 are waiting for the next one to watch the levee fail, again
