i guess it is just too difficult to let people live how they want to live and be who they want to be

@simply_miki no one is forcing anything on anyone, other than the religious forcing their beliefs into law s all across the country. if there is a drag show , you are choosing to attend. same as with a concert or anything else. you personally make to choice to attend or not. people need to start with their own personal responsibility. there was never this much hate around gay people 20 years ago. in fact it was often flaunted and sought after by those who went both ways. it is a very simple thing mind your own business and live your life. i assume you are a person of faith, do you think others have or share the same faith as you? it is personal i would assume. then keep it that way. for some reason the community in general just want to be treated like everyone else. it is only the religious right who are forcing their personal religious belief onto others, and that is not right. i would tell those people. let he who is without sin cast the first stone

@simply_miki you are proving my point more and more. people like you use god for your own agenda. again, if it is your faith and belief, keep it to your self. i dont flaunt my beliefs like a new car, nails or a weave. yes Christians do force their belief and faith into law. they constantly hound, harass and threaten people with their beliefs. i would love to have a logical discussion with any person on this or any topic that can not bring their faith, or any faith up as a basis for their argument. you cant do that cause you go back to it in every sentence. so to a certain point, yes we want Christians to be silent, to the effect that keep your faith and belief to your self. we dont want to hear about it and we certainly dont want it governing law in this country . i will never seek the faith or belief of someone else i came to my beliefs faith and spiritualism thru my own path and journey. which i am sure most, not all people do. which is all people like myself have said and asked. if that journey was personal to you then why do you feel the need to try and force that very personal belief onto others thru law

@acans42 i lived in Covington and went to St Pauls for many years. the one thing i picked up from that school and what it's religion classes taught me was there was no value in hate. the bible even taught to love others before your self. but i am forced to ask the question, did you pick up the books yourself, or were you being for to pick them up and read them. i may not like how some people live, or how they write about life experiences, but i believe that there could be something to be taken away from learning about others. it seems like today's want to be Christians have forgotten that part.

@acans42 i went to school at St Paul's, and lived in Covington for many years. one of the biggest things i learned form my time at that school , and all the religion classes, is that we were taught to loves others as we love ourselves. never to judge people, unless we are willing to be judged in return. i was taught that even if i didn't like how someone else lived their life, that there was still something that i could learn from them. with that in mind i must ask, were you being forced to pick up the books that you didn't like, or did you do it of your own free decision. try reading any religious book. i bet you can find passages in there that will and could also disturb you. but are they suppose to be given a pass because it is a religious book? i dont believe so . remember in this country we have the freedom, for now, to pick and choose what we consume when it comes to books. i am revolted by the idea of someone one day telling me what i can read or not.
