  1. if you are going to charge a child as an adult, then let the rest of the states laws reflect it as well. if you want to try a 15 or 16 or 17 yr old child as adult, then make them adults by state law, and lower the age of adulthood

  2. then you could in my view charge them as adults. you cant claim in one breath that because of their age, they do not have the mental capacity to truly understand their actions. now these same politicians are trying top sell people on the opposite. if you can charge a juvenile/child/minor as an adult, then the rest of the states laws should reflect the same, but expecting constancy from Louisiana politicians is expecting too much.  @howard33072
