  1. or you could just go back to using a more durable roadway material that doesnt require oil production.......concrete oh wait the oil companies bought off your local congressman and other local leaders to use a substandard material i have seen roads here in south Louisiana that get flooded be absolutely destroyed in just a few years . heavier trucks, often overloaded only cause they are traveling locally, gouge giant groves in the asphalt , which degrades the longevity of the roadway
