think about those who drive for a living. like your news paper delivery driver, you uber. any food service delivery driver. even the kid working a minimum wage job delivering pizzas. who much would a little bit extra in a tip be for them

we get it here on the gulf coast every time there is a hurricane . after the storm all of a sudden when the relief checks and insurance money start going out, up go the prices on everything . everyone knows its price gouging but not one politician cares , cause they get paid in the back lot but the same companies ripping off people

how many people will have food delivered tonight ? how bad will it be for the person delivering pizzas at a minimum wage job and paying this much for gas

@veganpotterthevegan look at the roads we have here in the U.S they are falling apart. our entire highway infrastructure is crumbling to pieces because politicians keep playing political games to stay in their nice comfy office chair. the gas tax is primarily what is suppose to fund repairs to our highway and road systems, but if you look at the recent bridge collapse in PA that alone tells you where those funds go. to the police. the very same police who call your home and beg for money , thru the fraternal order of police, or other such organizations. maybe they should sell their weapons of war, like the excess military equipment the federal government sold them, then they might have the money they need and stop taking it away from much need infrastructure improvement projects

but i bet the companies are loving it and making a killing off of the public. they would never take a hit to their trillion dollar filled wallets to the rest of us get some financial relief. American corporate greed at its finest. so the next time you want to vote for a republican cause they want to "cut back regulation" remember regulation is the check against that greed

@darkstorminc yes i know i delivered new papers when i got out of the service. maintenance , oil changes , tires, fuel expenses and all the like

@ericneering6357 there once was a sliding tax scale for the rich . regan finally killed it, but while it was in place the u.s actually made money and they started up a little thing called NASA.
