  3.  @anthonymurano4064  look i agree the "color" flag shit and a person thinking that that is their identity is a bunch of crap. i was raised a catholic, but was told to just accept it when i posed certain questions. questions that come from a logical point of view. one particular actor i love because of the delivery of their work is Morgan Freeman. he him self said there is no need for a black history month, and i would also agree with that. i have had several friends that have drifted in and out of my life who were gay, straight, curious, and the far expanse in between. i personally have no problem with gay people nor those who still have no clue who and or what they are, that is the point of the human race we evolve as we grow thru our own individual life experiences and the people we come into contact with, no matter how brief that contact may be. i do wish to thank you for clarifying your personal stance in the "flag, ribbon, wristband, whatever issue. the point i was trying to make was that you were focused on only one particular thing and at the time i didnt believe you were giving thought to the others, and what your thoughts were on those. with the issue of indoctrination being thrown around so much im sure you can see that it begins much earlier than people realize. it starts with our parents when we are young. parents indoctrinate their children to their particular set of views and values. then comes schools they do the same. every school does this be it public or private. everyone is indoctrinated to some extent to think, act, or conform to a certain set of ideas and beliefs. i am currently in my late 40's and i can remember the general thought around the country in my late teens of people can be who they want to be and do what they want to do. i have to wonder what happened to that. where did it go ? did society evolve to now thinking that you have to think what this grp think or act how that grp acts? that is something we expect to see in a dictatorship country. everyone is soo triggered by just the idea of having a conversation that they are now shouted down and have their lives ruined. just because you dont like the ideas that someone else has. sorry those are not the things i was raised with thinking nor what i had joined the military for to help defend. the idead of us as not always seeing everything the same is what made this country so very different and stand out in the rest of the world. now we have become a nation who seeks approval from people we dont know and will never meet online and influence what they do say and buy for a dollar instead of putting out information and allowing people to make up their own minds. the very same things i dont like are very similar to the very same thing you have a problem with., but there are some who have to identify themselves with a flag, a ribbon, wristband, a special month, and dont know who they are with out it. sorry its what we have now and we have accept all even those we dont agree with. im sure you can understand that
