a rule should be in place for that very thing. it would remove the politics out of the court to prevent the "party in power" from stacking the court in this manner and allow real debate on the issue at hand to take place. how do you get that rule ? civil war? revolution ? we have not only the duty but the responsibility to put people in place to secure our future , not now but for future generations. it is written in the declaration its self

@fauxque5057 thats the point . one of the founding principals of the country if that very freedom of choice. whether it be religion , voting, speech, etc . the very second a law is passed that restricts a persons freedom of choice , is the very first one that devides the country . this issue has been based in the religious belief of a few for decades, and by this ruling it virtually tells many that dont believe as the few do , that your beliefs dont mean the same or are not equil to the others

@fauxque5057 to the point of it being a states rights issue, we have gone this route before, or did you not learn about the civil war. the southern states whos entire economy was based in slavery and the slave trade, and can we agree that with the abolishment of slavery the economy of southern state really went to shit ,cause they had nothing else . now don't misunderstand i whole hardheartedly agree with the abolishment of slavery. my point is here we go again talking about the right states rights. or wrong states rights. i don't believe it is a states rights issue at all. what i believe the issue is at least for this country is that very thing we think we hold most dear that freedom to choose. think of even the smallest thing you have the choice of. now try to wrap your brain around the idea that you no longer have the freedom because someone doesn't think you should have it. what would you be willing to do to have that right. did we just roll this country back 70 years . what next telling certain groups of people they don't have the freedom to choose where to live. how far back do we roll the country in terms of everyone losing their freedom of choice
