@Brian-dg3gh that's the point it isnt, and it doesnt affect your life at all . their decision doesnt affect how much of a raise at work you will not get. their decision does not take food off your plate. their decision does not keep you from paying your bills see what i'm getting at here

so what business is it of these people who want to throw their religious beliefs in some peoples faces. it is not your child. parents should be doing a parents job, or you shouldn't of had the little creature. state legislatures have no business legislating the job of parents. i would assume you didn't need permission to be attracted to who you are attracted to or to love ? nor did you need permission from the legislature on how to love that person. or in what manner. you are attracted to who you are attracted to, for what ever reason. if one of them want to have surgery to cut off their tits or pecker, how does it affect you. they are not chasing you down with a knife " it's a half off sale" that's not happening. why is it so hard for people to mind their own business and their own house.

Rachel Ivy how ever that is exactly where a lot of these legislatures are going. this is a decision that should be made within their own family. not legislated by law. it is like a person on their own journey to find their own faith and belief. it is their own journey. it is not something that can be fixed thru one size fits all legislation.

@doviejames what i am advocating for is that this is seen as a medical issue. something that should and has been discussed between the parents, the child and their doctor. by saying it doesn't directly impact you, is that if you do not have a child or even an adult in your orbit that struggles with this life dilemma, then why do you care. it is not your child, friend or family member. people are far to worried about telling everyone else how to live, before looking after their own life. i seriously doubt all these peoples lives are so perfect that they have so much extra time telling someone else how to live. i doubt you would be very accepting if someone rando you never met to you that you cant live the way you do. you cant dress the way you do. we have a constitutional republic which prioritizes the rights and freedoms of the citizen not the government or governmental body

@doviejames very true. on youtube it is extremely rare when you can have thoughtful discourse . i believe we can agree that kids now grow up faster, often with out context to what they are exposed to. i primarily grew up with 2 grandparents who grew up during the depression. i was sent to private catholic schools most of my schooling life. once i escaped the indoctrination of the, in my opinion, the out of date principals of the catholic church. George Carlin was a part of influential sphere and thought processes. after that came the military and every different type of life and living experiences and war i came across. even as a youngster of the 70's and 80's i had many of friends who were by all accounts more feminine with how they spoke, walked, dressed, and so on. so with the thought spurred on by my grandparents that anyone can be anything they choose to be really stuck with me. i can also agree with you that doing gender altering things of any type before puberty can run it's course can have major consequences. i grew up with those that were gay, straight, lesbian( even that was trendy for a while in the 90's and early 2000's) epically those that went both ways. you could see it in movies, tv, and more accurately in music. i think the non-binary issue is a way to stick it to "old" people. i mean hell it took a lesbian couple to really teach me how to properly sexually please a woman to where she would never forget me, LOL. at some point i think we need to understand the difference between opinion and fact now pushing 50 years old with 5 grown kids, i can truly step back and see how much has changed in the last 30 years. what people my age once accepted and even benefited from in their youth, they now look down on and want to keep people from experiencing. it just disappointing how having a vast life experience of varying degrees is almost frowned upon. sry early morning trip to the hospital making it hard to focus at the moment.

Rachel Ivy well tell that to a person living with hiv,aids, or cancer or even diabetes. and how much does insulin cost to make as opposed to what they charge people for it ? i'm pretty sure they would tell you to go fuck yourself when you have someone in your family that need these medications to feel normal, then come talk to me

@janthorpe9577 well then, what ? that age you speak of that wouldn't be 18 years old ? the very age every state considers you an adult. so why would any state pass any law that prohibits you from making adult decisions for your self as an adult ? no matter the law. as an adult we face the consequences of our own decisions. good, bad, or ugly. if you can enlist in the military and be trained to kill in the most lethal ways possible, dont you think that very person is responsible enough to have a drink ? how long will we allow legislatures to legislate things that should be taken care of by the families them selves and tell them to butt their noses out of our private business ? unless you want them legislating how you can have sex with your spouse in the privacy of your home ?

the senators that were censored before were for comments that made about attacking fellow members of congress. why does the right have such a problem with letting these people just live their lives. they do not go door to door to try and convert you into their tribe. how is it wrong for them to have access to medical treatment for themselves. but like always the right doesn't want any of this, till it hits home and it affects someone in their family. then and only then do they change their minds pure bigots !
