  10. PlasmaBurns I googled it when you said it, and all of the articles on the subject state quite clearly that Polio was almost eradicated because of massive worldwide vaccination campaigns. It came back in the wilds of Papua New Guinea because a weaker strain used in the vaccinations got out, and because they had gotten lax in the vaccinations in the more rural areas it started to spread again. But you read this and saw "...vaccinations....caused......polio" and went Yippee! and ran with it.
