  1. Having a strong military presence in government can be very effective. It worked for Turkey for the better part of a century keeping the Islamists at bay.

  3. Oscar ZemoraYeah, it's too bad. I was therefor a couple of months in 2003 before Erdogan got in, it was great. People were really nice, food was amazing, it was basically secular. It's gone to the dogs now from what I've heard.
