@reginaldglenn9826 medal was given moment later, apologies given at that time...mom went further was given apology from gymnastic Ireland ..not enough ..they set up mediation but.not happy with that either so almost 2 years down the line it's now gone worldwide

Omg dramatic much, yes awful to think forgotten about ..but medal was given to this lovely girl moments later, letters were given ,mediation was set up ....talks were discussed ..but non have been accepted .....I wonder what will be ?

How very racist of you ,we have had black people represent our tiny country on many world stages, miss Ireland , miss world, music , dance arts, sport, football, medically ,TV, movies and the stage...we are not a racist country..can you imagine the uproar in all of Africa if a white Irish person represented Nigeria in ms universe?

I'm not sure if you know the meaning of the word ,anyhow you want me to feel it for saying a black person living in Ireland ...instead of a black Irish person , but I was speaking about the former so correct ,if was refering to the later than that would be correct ...if say Kanye West was living in Ireland you want me to say that he is a Black Irish man ,instead of a black man living in Ireland ???!!! There are plenty of both living here and do you know what some born here would rather identify of their parents place of birth ,others moved here and would rather identify as coming from here and either is absolutely fine and dandy by me.

@susanj9186 absolutely agree with you if that's what it was and there is no place or space for that , I'm just not sure this was that....If she missed giving medal to any of the others ,than went straight back and gave her medal.....would that have caused all this ? Would not think deliberate ,maybe I'm wrong ..but if it was than it's that ladies fault .her bias and she needs to be made accountable for disgusting actions ....
