@Spiritof_76 all have to do is look at the many many professors that have lost their jobs sprouting bs view, but due to tenure some still being paid ,are look at the president of Harvard herself at the moment ,do you not listen to the news or keep in touch with what counts now a day's as an education?

@marianmurphy4625 I did my leaving certain 1990 it it most certainly was in our old school books..check for yourself for the years of the "famine" and look at the food exports....beef,pork,ham,poultry, venison,veal.potatoes and every other veg,,oats ,grains .cheese..butter ,honey ,beer and whiskey by the shipload

Is this a joke 😂..They were forced on to ships by the English colonizers since 16 c,by Cromwell first place was Caribbean Trinny being one of the many Islands as slaves working sugar plantations ..Then Aus and NZ , USA Cad etc it's not like they purchased tickets for a lil trip ..Forced as free labour and owned.,during famine times Irish sold themselves into Indentured service for fair and boardings ....why do you think Millions of Irish in these countries? They were brought there

@blueprince2330 affirmative action, lower grades acceptance from Black students at the loss of places for people who got higher grades, hiring quotas just in skin colour, robbing store blind with no punishment,..looting and burning places down when one of thier own dies from fentanyl and dies but blames cops .....just a few examples that we see on this side of the world.

During the height of the troubles, one of our ministers in an attempt to quell rising anger and to appease the parliament re issued history books with chapters removed and fairytale paragraphs.. Thankfully, generations already knew . All native Catholics were forced to move to Connaught, where the land was barren and filled with rocks,with little hope of survival. That is what you are calling country folk..The "Irish" in the cities living off the fish ? Where English landlords, or Scottish planters, living if the produce of the natives, loving in their evicted homes ..The natives farmed the land ,they took the produce and sold it..
