  2. Man, One of the biggest reasons I like the 4runner because it's made in Japan. I'm not interested in a vehicle made anywhere else. So, its more $ but I'll probably be moving to land cruiser which i think is the in spirit successor of the 4R since the 4R was the baisc version of the 150 series and the gx was the luxury version of the 150 series.

  6. For the very few that see my comment. These grills most people hate on are actually designed to appear like japanese samurai masks , I think that's awesome. I can't remember where I read it but I'll never forget it and respect it.

  17. I hate how the LC seats don't fold flat like the 4runner seats fold flat. But boy oh boy the LC is juicey. Im in the same situation as you but man oh man the land cruiser is badass. Damm it! Oh did you know that most people think the gx is the Prado which it is. But the 4runner is also build on the Prado platform not the hilux platform like most parrot. The 4runner is closer to the land cruiser prado than the gx is. Anyway man... I think the back of the land cruiser is sick because of the tail gate clam shell design.

  19. Man, I almost bought a LC today but ended up liking my 4R more. However that LC drove very very smoothly like on a cloud. But I realized just how much i appreciate my 4R. Like you said there's a LOT of value for what it is!

Land Cruiser Regular fuel Gx premium Fuel Land Cruiser more Mpg Gx less Mpg Land cruiser more range Gx less range Land cruiser power generator Gx no power generator Land cruiser 4 cylinder Gx 6 cylinder Land cruiser Toyota Gx Lexus Land cruiser tows 6000 Gx tows 8000 Im going with the Land Cruiser but the gx is its stablemate in Lexus form. Both are wins imo it depends on your needs. Im so thankful toyota gave us these.

  47. Noticed your shirt, in the original Jurassic Park book (before the movie), the park tour vehicles were fully Electric Land Cruisers. It's a shame they swapped them out in the movie. What happened to 'spare no expense'? The Land Cruiser's weight would’ve been perfect for showing just how powerful that T. Rex really was.

  48. Prado is not sold in the United States. It's equivalent, in basic trim, is considered to be the 4runner, while it is rebadged as a Lexus GX in its more luxurious trim. .but if you're going for a Prado avoid the luxury that might fail you and go with the basic 4R

Here's something that's been on my mind the 4runner has smaller piece's but it's also much lighter, Which puts a less strain on the frame and components over time vs the land cruiser has much thicker and robust parts but it's much heavier because of this math do you think they'll both have the same life expectancy?
