Well you gotta have the rich in sizeable numbers for eating them to have any benefit, plus those who come after them should be highly competent and pragmatic and should not fall to blind redistributive fantasies or ideological delusions that can hamper growth. It's easy to tear something down but building it back up takes serious mettle, which the Japanese had mastered. Twice.

  2. Well this works if the wealthy have enough meat on their bones. If there was no overwhelming wealth to exploit in the first place then this wouldnt have worked.
