If America followed a Japanese style trade policy The world would not be the way it is today certainly wont have industrialized states in Asia aside from the remenants of the Soviet influence. Grow a brain better yet shut up. The Japanese used industrial espionage, state intervention and a comprehensive set of state policy tools to terrific effect, Its undoubtedly awesome and really impressive. But expecting America to just lie there and take it and just live with the unbalanced trade deficit suggests how stupid you are. America absorbing Japanese exports is how they got to be who they are. Dont get me wrong the Japanese are absolute pioneers and brilliant policy makers but actions have consequences.While you shill for china remember that. China does what China Can, US does what US can and we'll see who's left standing but saying disingenous bs like US destroyed Japan's economy just makes you a crazy idiot. The Plaza accords were meant to dissuade Japanese from doing things that Americans themselves werent(atleast not since the ww's). Plus The soviets were winding down and America had no reason to essentially subsidize the Japanese economy. And for somebody who thinks this channel is run by an American shill you sure have commented 50+ times. P.S- Every country should strive to follow the Japanese model. Its next to impossible to replicate but certainely lot of lessons for nascent low income and/or industrializing/unindustrialized states
