  2.  @akedis101  if your plan is to ramp up the share of EV's then the electricity production required cannot be met by renewables alone. Plus not every place on earth is suited for renewables like the US is, And with urrent technology battery tech has a lot of ground cover they are to be a viable support system for renewables.
