  3. EU was a French Institution with Germans drafting the monetary policy(they later hijacked the whole thing). The point being there are no equivalents to those countries that can fulfill the roles that they did in Africa and certainly not in Central Africa. This is bound to be a failure. If this was done after these countries had achieved a modicum of industrial development I would've been a little less pessimistic. The Geography of the whole region makes it a non starter to begin with. These countries cant even govern themselves properly.

  12. The Japanese are the only ones to have engineered their way out of this. relocated their industrial bases outside the country into developing markets and the ones with favourable demographies US being chief amongst them. Also Mexico is right next door for Americans.
