  1. EU was a French Institution with Germans drafting the monetary policy(they later hijacked the whole thing). The point being there are no equivalents to those countries that can fulfill the roles that they did in Africa and certainly not in Central Africa. This is bound to be a failure. If this was done after these countries had achieved a modicum of industrial development I would've been a little less pessimistic. The Geography of the whole region makes it a non starter to begin with. These countries cant even govern themselves properly.
