  3. Also I think national psyche would come into play in this scenario. Our political elites and the citizenry would be itching for such a fight, it would be seen as the equivalent of balancing the historic scales for more than two centuries of colonialisation, and that i think can be a powerful motivater to force your former(somewhat cruel) master to capitulate, that would be a huge morale booster for the nation, We would probably consider that moment to be the one where we have 'arrived on the global scene', kinda like coming of age scenario, comparisons will be made to the American revolution.

  4. Our Navy has far to go before we can challenge the Brits on the High Seas. Our Air Force on the other hand, there is potential there.
