@peterisawesomeplease you are looking at it from a good v. evil angle. Imperialism was evil to people who were on the recieving end. but it was good for the people wielding it. Also Tom's political obsessions are very clear, I prefer to take an unsentimenal view of history rather than on steeped in my personal ideological fetishes.

@peterisawesomeplease The Technology, Organization, Governance Systems involved in the creation of these vaccines all came from the west. Sure multiple persons of african descent might've been involved in it. But it happened under the aegis of a Western system thats undeniable. That being said, African especially southern and coastal west african states have made some remarkable advancements in public health due to their constant exposure to public health emergencies, they've evolved despite their governance issues several public health systems(with international support) that have allowed them to whether this crisis as well as if not better than most countries on the continent.
