@Martin Hayes a pressurized aluminum tube is pretty much the same as an aeroplane. Given that buildingand sustaining passenger rail in the US is harder. An underground high speed rail or hyperloop seems more apt for the US. Land acquisition and politically motivated project modifications are often required for above ground systems in a democratic individualist country like the US.

@xSwaghettiYolonesEx non existent. My fellow countrymen have been huffing copium for quite some while. The Pakis have a great record when it comes to air to air combat to the point that they had a couple of Aces(Their record in Arab Israeli conflicts is a matter of history). Thankfully that hasn't really changed the outcome of Indo-Pak wars. Indian airforce by comparison has a relatively poor to nonexistent record. We failed to land an accurate hit on our target, got one of our own shot down by an enemy aircraft and shot down one of our own assets all in a short span, So basically it's quite pathetic. As much as I hate them Pakis their Airforce is top notch. For political concerns we declared success despite the piss poor and pathetic outcome. But did demonstrate our willingness to use force so that's something. Whether we are competent at deploying said force successfully has been proven to be a clear NO.
