  1. Before February 2022, I'd say "it's too soon," and that EU bureaucracy and WWII guilt would prevent them from taking charge or having a militant position on Russia. I was clearly wrong because they don't tolerate war on the continent and have even gotten the EU to start providing lethal weapons to Ukraine. If Germany controls the EU, then it's already a superpower. Unlike the CCP, it's an actual counterbalance to the United States and not a hypothetical superpower. That hasn't happened since the Soviet Union was weakened in the 1980s.

  2. Are you sure you have the Suez history correct? If there's a special relationship, and the two states share the same foreign policy, intelligence, and defense, shouldn't the US need to know ahead a time before Britain, France, and Israel start WWIII that would have brought in the Soviet Union as well? Churchill would've have informed Eisenhower.
