Dimitra Arvanitidis If Oprah Winfrey ("OW"), or anyone else in Hollywood, needed career advice, I don't think you'd be on the top of their list of advisors.
OW is an entertainer and businesswoman; she has her own production company and worked with CBS, Harry, and Meghan to finance and market this interview. None of them are trying to change the world, reform the British Monarchy, or end racism in the US, UK, or anywhere in the English-speaking world.
Everyone involved with this interview has a business interest in this protect and are entitled to profit from it. We can debate about whether or not Harry and Meghan should have privately addressed their concerns with Buckingham Palace, but they're no longer receiving a salary or financial support from the British taxpayers; thus however they decide to market themselves and their new brand is a decision the couple can make without the duty of consulting the Crown and the British government.
