  1. It's a great video, but the part about the US becoming a superpower after WWII is not completely accurate. In 1939, at the onset of the European war and before mobilization, the US had already been considered the most powerful country. After the war, it created a global hegemony and replaced the British Pound as the reserve currency. The Spanish-American War and World War I were arguably the conflicts that made the US the largest arms supplier, war financier, and essentially "the world's police."
