  15. You wouldn't be getting attacked or used as proxy battlefield without Russia seeing the US as an enemy. Weapons and US aid alone wasn't enough for Afghans to fight the Taliban. You wouldn't getting harassed by trolls and bots pretending to be Americans if Ukraine wasn't winning the war. It's true that the US, Britain, Poland, and EU have contributed a lot and sanctioned Russia, but your own ground forces and civilians are winning the war.

The US and NATO didn't react militarily and with aggression in Syria, Georgia, and after the annexation of Crimea because there wasn't political support for intervention in either Europe or America. The US did conduct targeted strikes after chemical weapons attacks on civilians, but it was mostly symbolic because Syria has historically had closer political ties to Moscow. There has to be significant US business and foreign interest, or popular support to involved to use the hard or soft power to counter Russia or China. The actions and public image of Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian Armed forces, and the Ukrainian people in the media is what rallied most of the West to intervene after the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Until the 2016 political interference, election meddling, and hacking operations from Russia, Vladimir Putin wasn't considered a dangerous hostile adversary or military threat to the US, its foreign policy, or NATO. Putin used the Russian media and online trolls to build this false image of him being a master spy playing and winning a game 4D chess against the US and Europe. He's now made a major miscalculation and underestimated Zelenskyy and the resolve of the US and its allies. The war will either lead to his demise or the collapse of the Russian government, so as long as the Ukrainians have the weapons and funding, they will defeat Putin without the use of US troops.

  26. I'm still astonished that a single individual could be involved with as much litigation and legal investigations as ex-Pres Trump. He's got to have multiple law firms working overtime and tracking cases around the country. A daily brief on his legal cases would likely take eight hours or more. I could be wrong, but the Department of Justice (US government) and Walmart might be the only entities with more cases than Trump.

The US and UK aren't as dependent on Russian gas and natural resources to meet their needs. Unfortunately, Germany and other European Union economies are being held hostage by Gazprom.

It only takes a single reading of Jack Smith's superseding indictment to see that Donald Trump is being accused of criminal conduct and the factual allegations have nothing to do with politics. I don't even see why you would reference your political affiliations. It's not relevant at all. It gives me the impression that you've not read the indictment. Personally, I think your credibility should be questioned because there's No reason or justification to mention that you are a lifelong Democrat. I haven't been a lifelong Democrat and don't see why you'd think that's relevant.

  36. I get that CCP wants to be respected, but they should have learned from Putin's mistake of underestimating soldiers and people fighting for their freedom. They have a large and sophisticated military, but the Pelosi visit isn't worth going to war and potentially getting humiliated. Taiwan looks small and close to the mainland on maps, but the PLA troops aren't ready to start a third world war and amphibious invasion that would bring the US into the conflict. They should by battling a smaller country, and not have their first war of conquest against the largest military power.

  37.  @hajicamara5755  The US sat in Afghanistan for two decades and took its precious time to move out. The Taliban and ISIS-k had to wait until the US got bored and left. If they were so tough, they could have removed NATO themselves a long time ago. How many Afghans and Taliban members died versus NATO troops? There were no plans to annex Afghanistan and make it into the 51st US state. It was the puppet government that collapsed, and they're currently starving now, so that's not much of a win. The US killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan. Russia has lost nearly 20,000 soldiers and a lot of those deaths were from US-made weapons. The Russian military is clearly incompetent and they have poor logistics and inexperienced soldiers.

Ukrainians are experiencing power outages during the winder because their electric infrastructure and hospitals are being targeted. Putin started the war. The US, Russia, and the UK all agreed to provide military aid and respect Ukraine's borders, on the condition they surrendered their Soviet nukes. Ukraine followed the agreement. This isn't repeat of the WWII, but it's more dangerous to not respond to aggressors. The war has to stay in Ukraine and not spread into NATO.

  45. Zelenskyy is a rock star now. I would have loved to travel to DC to get a chance to meet him in person. This will be the first time he's left the country since Russia invaded. No one is crazy enough try and target him on American soil, but the White House and media should have worked better to keep this secret. He began the year as a relativity unknown comedian turned politicians. No one expected that would be able to stand up to Vladimir Putin, fight off a Russian invasion, and successfully use social media and public relations to boost morale of Ukrainian soldiers, civilians, and unite the liberal democracies of the world (The West) to oppose the unjustified aggression from the Kremlin. Despite that, Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people have proved us all wrong. Ukrainian politicians have put politics aside and have successfully rallied the world to get economic and military aid, the delivery of advanced weapons systems, access to US-UK intelligence information, and a US-EU led regime of financial sanctions, economic warfare, and a trade embargo against the Russian government, oligarchs, oil, and Russia's international business interests. Given Zelenskyy's support in the UK as well, it wouldn't surprise me if he made a visit to the UK as an appreciation of the unwavering support from the British government. He's a humble man, but he's become Time Magazine's Person of the Year, one of the most influential and recognizable world leaders, and a modern day Winston Churchill. The Ukrainians and the Government in Kyiv have now become a force to be reckoned with. Slava Ukraini! 💙💛💙💛

  49. Easy answer: He won't try NUKES or NATO. Might sound arrogant, but both would almost certainly bring in the US. If they're struggling this much with Eastern Ukraine, they're not going to be any better facing a fresh and fully mobilized US and all the partners of Europe.
