  1. Part of the blame could be that humans are intervening by causing a distraction, but most people are naturally afraid of snakes and wildlife. It's hard enough getting strangers to use the Heimlich maneuver in restaurants, so I doubt there are many people looking to help a choking bird digest a venomous snake.

  2. Lions are used to vehicles and avoid humans. I've seen one video of an aggressive leopard attacking the vehicle, but lions usually fear groups of humans.

I've seen other predators kill smaller or injured predators for food; but the Big Cats seem to be the only ones that go out of their way to stalk and kill other predators for the sole purpose of eliminating competition, and not to consume 🍖.

  22. It wasn't line of sight. Her head was down. The lion knows to only move when the leopard is distracted. The leopard sees and smells the lioness when its ears go down.

  27. The Impala must have been the type hoping and praying to be killed by lions and leopards rather than being eaten by alive by hyenas and wild dogs. I'd expect death from any animal to be horrible, but it's quicker with the dogs. They don't have the luxury of eating slowly like the big cats.

  34. I'm no elephant whisperer, but I'm sure the pressure of being forced to deliver in front of the apex predators in the vehicles with the cameras doesn't help to keep the mother relaxed.

  48. How do you know he wasn't born in Africa? There are millions of Africans (vast majority) who have never been close to wild predators. We couldn't hear his accent. He is probably from the part where men cover their mouths with both hands when they start crying.
