  1. Although I agree making money to become self reliant is a very worthwhile goal, I question this mindset of making money to become rich financially. First it's a million then 2, then 5, then 10... does it simply become a measuring stick of success or is it because one feels the more money he has the happier he will be?? Many studies have shown that having a lot of money simply doesn't equate to being happy. Now there is nothing wrong with being wealthy if you can handle it and keep your life in balance with family, friends, and community but unfortunately for most it becomes an all consuming endeavour until they lose perspective and their very sense of identity is tied to their wealth.
