  2.  @karlaxel7358  Investing always has risks even if you think you're only investing in solid companies, think Lehman Brothers or Enron. Beauty of the stock market is it filters out the companies falling out of favor in support of ones that are able to adapt and shift focus. Owning everything like an S&P500 ETF or choosing your stocks according to future growth and your own risk tolerance won't get rid of risk 100% but will definitely make you wealthier compared to not investing at all.

  3.  @justin79811  Biden's tax plan will shift favor to different sectors like renewable and can dampen prospect of oil stocks. Even still, energy companies thay pivot like BP going into renwable will make it out alive as will some legacy brands like ExxonMobil.
