  1. 1:37 - IIRC, that was pretty well-known at the time, but nobody complained, since the original treaty limits on displacement for converted ships were, in fact, unrealistically low, as demonstrated by the other treaty power converting battleships and battlecruisers to carriers, Japan, running into exactly the same problem with their conversions (Akagi and Kaga).

  3.  @GP-qb9hi  Same name, different ship. The one that sank in the Coral Sea was CV-2; the one you visited in Corpus Christi is CV-16.

  4.  @andrewtaylor940  I think they were asking why they didn't additionally do this with the four carriers specifically exempted from treaty limits as "experimental" (Argus, Furious, Langley, and Hosho.)
