  2. 14:35 - Why didn't any of those destroyers (or, for that matter, the cruisers that came by a bit later in the engagement) try to ram the Hiei? They were so close that they almost certainly could've pulled it off, and it'd've been an opportunity to inflict considerable underwater damage on the battlecruiser.

  3.  @Warspite1  "see HMS Glowworm and Admiral Hipper" Not a particularly-great comparison, given that Glowworm was already out of control due to massive damage from Admiral Hipper's shellfire when it collided with the cruiser (and managed to inflict considerable damage on Admiral Hipper regardless). In the present case (a nighttime action with little to no gunfire damage to the destroyer prior to the ramming), the situation would be much more akin to the collision between HMS Spitfire and SMS Nassau at Jutland, where the destroyer badly can-openered the battleship with a glancing blow.
