Did any of the non-Japanese navies with triple-turreted light cruisers (Brooklyns, Clevelands, Towns, La Galissonnières, Königsbergs, etc.,) look at swapping out their triple 5.9s or 6es or 6.1s for twin 8s post-treaty-collapse to rapidly boost their heavy-cruiser numbers, like the IJN did with the Mogamis? Also, considering just how the Battle of the Saintes went, why does the Marine Nationale keep trying to name things after de Grasse? Career-endingly-catastrophic naval defeats that involve being taken as a POW don't usually qualify an admiral as good namesake material!
