  7. If you install Wine (it's a software compatibility layer for Windows applications on Linux and macOS), you should be able to run Springsharp on any compatible version of macOS that supports 32-bit x86 applications (Mountain Lion through Mojave, inclusive).

  9. The .ssr files are ordinary formatted text documents; you should be able to open and read them using the word processor of your choice. (Source: has eleven different SSR files open in LibreOffice Writer at the moment.)
