At the Battle of Friday the 13th, what would've happened if the U.S. destroyers that strafed Hiei from literal stone's-throw range had turned to ram the battlecruiser instead of taking evasive action? Could the three-or-more destroyers in position to potentially make ramming attacks have inflicted enough underwater damage to cause Hiei to founder or capsize right there and then or shortly afterwards (especially given the Kongōs' vulnerability to underwater damage and the fact that all these destroyers would've been ramming the same side of Hiei)?
