  1. Would armor-piercing shells loaded with anthrax spores be effective as an anti-capital-ship weapon if used in conjunction with conventional explosive AP shells? One of the biggest disadvantages of biological warfare is the risk of the biological agent spreading to your own troops, which probably isn't likely in a situation where the spores are being express-delivered to an enemy several miles away who's operating from fleet bases hundreds to thousands of miles away from your own bases, and, given how incredibly difficult large-scale anthrax decontamination is, even one or two hits by spore-laden shells could conceivably render an enemy vessel permanently useless.
