  2. 10:36 - Actually, only Germany and Austria are part of the European Union - not Switzerland. All three are, however, part of the Schengen Area, which is the important bit for not-getting-arrested-for-drifting-into-another-country purposes.

  4. I'm surprised that South Africa never invaded Lesotho to get them to stop supporting the opponents of apartheid, given how willing South Africa was to send their troops into other nearby countries (coughcough Angola coughcough) in the 70s and 80s.
