6:05 - Why shouldn't you be able to sue foreign governments for being incompetent?

Sovereign immunity can go frell itself.

8:44 - Did the Supreme Court actually cite anything to support its decision in Nixon v. Fitzgerald, or was it making something up out of whole cloth?
1
3:40 - ...how is that a good thing? If the United States does something illegal in another country, don't we want it to be held responsible for what it's done?

18:10 - "There are good reasons why we have some of these legal defenses in place" - Except for sovereign immunity, which is an utter crock of shit. 18:18 - "because we don't want lawsuits that stifle speech" - When that speech is a) deliberately and maliciously false and b) is literally killing people, yes we do. To quote Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., "your personal liberty to swing your fist ends just where my nose begins".

16:36 - Fox News represents themselves as part of the news media. The news media, by definition, provide the public, to the best of their ability, with accurate information regarding what's going on. Since Fox pulls everything it says out of its collective ass instead, they're misrepresenting themselves to the public and placing them in danger by speaking with false authority.

17:31 - If what Fox were saying was actually true to the best of their ability, that would be a great argument... not so much when all they do is make up stuff out of thin air and then try to spin it as the truth.

17:00 - Being provided with deliberate falsehoods rather than actual news is not a risk that is "common, frequent, expected, and inherent" to the activity of watching the news, any more than someone can claim that they don't owe the public a duty not to plant landmines in the street.
