  3.  @josephledux8598  Any armor which resists projectiles by some means other than passively sitting there is a form of reactive armor, not just explosive reactive armor. The sole difference between NxRA/NERA (such as Chobham armor) and ERA is that NxRA uses the energy of the incoming projectile to power the reaction, rather than using prestored explosive chemical energy.
