  1.  @ForgottenWeapons  I imagine you'd need to take more care to prevent corrosion when you're putting water in it than with jellied gasoline.

IIRC, they weren't banned, just phased out since thermobaric weapons could do the same stuff, plus blast damage, and could be delivered from much longer ranges (although personally I'd argue that there's probably still a niche for flamethrowers close in, where the target's too close to you to drop a TB on them and risk getting caught in it yourself).
