  2. I don't know that Josh Shapiro could have made a difference in the result. But I know most people agreed that Walz was not a good choice, even when he was first picked. He proved to be a nice guy, but nothing more than that. Minnesota has a very long history of electing quirky individuals to office who don't fare well outside that state.
