Republicans sneered at her, before the debate, for setting aside so much time for preparation. Clearly it paid off. You can’t jeer at her for preparation and then complain when the preparation pays off (or accuse her of cheating somehow).

@EddieHenderson92 Because, sweetie, she wasn’t making any utterly nonsensical - and damaging - claims. Trumps ‘immigrants eating pets’ and ‘Democrats killing babies,’ was divisive and, particularly with the former statement, dangerous, meant to continue to whip up anti immigrant feeling.

@ Hopefully, yes, inner strength prevails - but, being realistic, it doesn’t always. People have breakdowns, marriages collapse under stress etc etc. Then we add on the pressure of guilt: ‘You didn’t have enough inner strength.’ There will be extraordinary amounts of ‘inner strength’ but a cliche can become an unreasonable expectation.
