You honestly believe God is sitting up there, blessing Netanyahu and Israel as the bombs rain down? That he is rubbing his hands with glee at the 46,000 massacred? At the children left with no parents or homes? What ghastly kind of a God do you believe in? Certainly not the one who said, ‘Love your enemy.’ An Anglican priest.
25
Did you ever listen to the hatred Trump incited in his rallies or on his Truth Social posts? Did you protest THAT?
22
How on earth is it not ‘the gospel’ to ask (gently) for vulnerable and frightened people to be treated with care? An Anglican priest.
13
A President can’t be ‘axed.’ His choice. A hero.
11
I have a brain. I think the Tories have done their best to finish us off, so Labour have an uphill job - which is why, however I voted, I can only wish them integrity, competence, and success, and hope the U.K. will gradually find its feet again.
10
Really? His loose talking, lack of personal morals and shady business practices didn’t embarrass you? Really?
10
How the heck is it unbiblical to call for mercy for frightened people, whatever their label? Totally gospel. An Anglican priest.
8
Trump appears to be making America hated, globally. So sad. We used to look up to the USA.
7
Inflation come way down from where Trump left it
7
@ Rubbish. She was promoting Jesus’s call to protect the frightened and vulnerable (whatever their label). An Anglican priest.
6
Why? For asking for mercy for people who are frightened? What kind of Christianity do you believe in? One that attacks the vulnerable? An Anglican priest.
6
Demonic? What on earth do you mean? Asking for powerful people to deal gently with people who are frightened is demonic? Shame on you. An Anglican priest.
6
Prices have been ‘out of hand’ across the world, post Covid. It’s not just a US issue
5
‘Falsely indicted’? Really? So, if a jury decides he is guilty, but you FEEL he is innocent, then he is innocent?
5
Have you actually READ his endless ranting tweets? Did you actually SEE the results of his anger on January 6th? Do you just erase what doesn’t fit in with your narrative?
5
How arrogant. Shame on you. I have no doubt there are THOUSANDS of good people in California.
5
Do a simple google and you will discover that the same has happened all across the world…
5
But he didn’t evade the draft five times…
5
Evil. Callous. But then, why should I be surprised?
4
I’m an Anglican priest and I despair. A woman asks gently ( and it WAS gentle) for compassion to be shown to vulnerable and frightened people and she is demonised. Justice and mercy are fundamental and Biblically sound.
4
Do you really believe God is sitting there, blessing the massacre of 46,000 people, many innocent women and children? What kind of vile God do you believe in? An Anglican priest.
4
@ and if God ‘defends his own,’ what was the Holocaust all about?
4
What about the thousands of Christian’s whose homes have been destroyed? Do you think THEY didn’t pray?
4
@omarelkaramany6233 VERY WELL SAID. As a Christian, I read comments like this and it makes me despair.
4
I am quite sure there are thousands of loving, prayerful Californians and I find this comment arrogant and insulting.
4
Look at the ‘strongest’ leaders the world has known. Then remember what havoc and destruction they caused. Be careful what you wish for.
4
Agreed. Boycotting holidays there too. So sad. Making America hated when it was once a shining example.
4
Utter blasphemy
4
Like Melanie Trump and her parents? Legal or illegal, under your categorisation?
3
742 million people in Europe. How many have you canvassed?
3
All those poor policemen at the Capitol put THEIR lives on the line - and everyone denied accountability.
3
Sorry, but a U.K. poll suggested 4/5 Brits think Trump is the horror story.
3
And on January 6th, incitement and failure to bring in support in time led to multiple deaths. Somehow, the person who was the most careless (‘negligent’) was not held responsible at all.
3
Trump is, of course, the model of an ethical leader 😂
3
@giuliakhawaja7929 That’s your interpretation.
3
Ever heard of sibling rivalry?
3
@larrypoindexter6698 Try doing some homework. There is a difference between Marxism and wanting to care for middle class people…
3
@larrypoindexter6698 caring about the middle classes is not Marxism
3
Don’t be silly! Just because your side ‘lost’ the sky hasn’t fallen in, and Labour, as the Conservatives before them, will do their best to try to solve the mess. I suggest you go into politics to see whether you can do better?
3
Collapsed with laughter. So Trump was allowed to lose disgracefully then?!
3
@DimitriosChannel What for? Voting for Trump?
3
Read the facts about what FEMA is doing, and the praise it has received from various state officials.
3
@RaptureIsNEAR7634 No, thousands will be heartened to hear someone who, like Jesus, stands up for the frightened and vulnerable, whatever their label. An Anglican priest.
3
It’s an INITIAL amount not the final sum. Give them a break - dealing with a crisis which has devastated millions is hardly a quick fix
3
@stephenspiers5086 evidence?
3
@PerritoNoz Totally agree. Sickening to hear Americans trying to make political capital out of a catastrophe
3
Shame on you. She asked for mercy for frightened and vulnerable people - as Jesus would have done. An Anglican priest.
3
How can you speak for the entire ‘free world’? Nonsense.
3
@archiewall124 . So is it wrong to ask for mercy and kindness for vulnerable and frightened people?
3
That’s right. All the polls point that way….:)
