And that the king has invited him for a state visit makes me feel sick, however ‘diplomatic’ it is.

We feel for all the decent Americans who are having to live directly with this idiot, and with the chaos he is unleashing.

Many of us still miss being part of the EU! In fact, most recent polls suggest that the larger percentage now regrets leaving…
14
And we hate what is being done to you. All respect to Canada from the U.K.
9
@LindaRae. Made me laugh because that’s what I so often do!
6
Is there any parallel here in the way Britain treated the EU over Brexit? A determination that the EU was ‘entitled,’ and grabbing, and therefore to be treated as more enemy than friend?
4
No? Seriously?
4
@thegibbon100 If you can’t even spell Biden’s name, the chances of you understanding geopolitics may be a bit limited…
4
@thegibbon100 if his name were Den, it would make sense. As for being a ‘woke fool’ I am deeply proud of being woke. An Anglican priest.
4
‘Confected’? Maybe it’s genuine. Maybe we loathe the arrogance of Vance….
3
Goodness, I hope not. Things are bad enough as it is. Trump seemed genuinely surprised, so perhaps your thesis is wrong? As I say, I hope so, but they are such slippery characters, who knows?
3
I feel very sorry for my Democrat friends over there
2
People who don’t want to spoil their dentistry apparently!
2
@stormhawk31 We were ALWAYS grateful for how you helped to save democracy in Europe, and we loved America for many years. I think it was a bit as if you were a protective elder brother. Fair enough if you have decided to relinquish that role - but don’t be surprised if European affection, which has been almost constant, begins to turn to loathing. The world is a darker place for it.
2
What a brilliant analogy. Keep posting it (preferably on Fox News comments…)
2
@Zdashable We’ll wait a few years to see how that is going. The man who promised to bring peace appears to be tearing America apart.
2
@ And how do you know I’m not ‘awake’? Because I don’t agree with you? Or because I spot the abuse within the Trump regime and you don’t want to hear about that?
2
@aliray7833and, even if that was the case, does it validate Trump’s betrayal?
2
Now he is President he no longer needs to hide it. If he WAS a spy, then he has been working undercover for years to be able to reach this point (or to have been successfully manipulated to reach this point).

I think if it is severely provocative and hate filled, stirring up riots, perhaps it is.
1
@jeffsimon9594 That phrase is something we teach our children. It encourages them to put a brave face on things - but cruel words said to them may mark them for life. That’s reality, whether you like it or not. Words can create chaos.
1
Can’t blame them really. A powerful, and vengeful, man.
1
As Trump said, ‘Bullies are weak people.’ Too true
1
Do they actually HAVE morals?
1
I have been feeling rather nervous, of late, by that verse in the Bible, which talks about the end of the world, happening ‘at the sound of the last Trump’. I say that part in jest, part in horror
1
Really looking forward to it, except we will all suffer as a result - and who will win?
1
MAGA wouldn’t care…The party of ‘family values’ wouldn’t care.
1
Because of the damage he could do to the country through things like tariffs, perhaps? How bullies function.
