In what way?
11
Orban's party is not center-right.
10
Yes... the dangerous far-left in Europe. Communism has landed but I must have missed it.
7
Yes, including Hungary in a video titled "resurgence" when Orban is in power for ages was a bit silly. I think the right/left power balance will keep swinging in Europe as always. And the moderate versions of each, since the overwhelming majority of the population is moderate.

@ILOVEMINERSCR715 So basically authoritarianism leads to prosperity but liberty and freedom don't? Europeans had massive empires because they appeared uninvited in other people's lands and subjugated them... not sure if you want to replicate that in the 21st century.
5
@snokehusk223 If anything Europe is getting more secular. And gladly so.
3
The Anglosphere? In the UK the Conservatives are in power for 12 years now... Labour is likely to return to power in the next general elections.
3
@attilamarics3374 Yes, but which countries are letting everyone in?
3
Its roots? Like what, the Roman times?
2
@snokehusk223 You think people are all of a sudden turning to religion? I don't see that anywhere much less in the newer generations.
2
The overwhelming majority of the European population is moderate though.
2
@jackh4832 As the UKIP before them. They won't be anywhere near power though.
2
@darthcalanil5333 But Germany just got back to the center-left, the UK will probably follow suit in 2024... it's not that there's a unique trend in Europe like the title of the video seems to imply.
2
@sempersuffragium9951 Abortion is not really an issue in Europe, it's legal within certain parameters and most people are happy with it.
2
Funny you should mention the UK because there's a very high change Labour will get back to power in the next general election.
2
Orban's party is not center-right. And Meloni's coalition includes Salvini's party which is definitely not center-right.
2
What does that even mean? Are we back to the discovery age or something?
2
@Alex Pokrandt Oh right... scapegoating immigrants, a classic.
2
@heric_ Well, many other countries already arrived at the democratic adulthood phase... not really a matter of waking up. Still, nevermind Italy seemingly getting a new PM ar each 2 years, I think it's democratic enough, just very fragmented.
1
They will be equally disappointed with the right and then shift again... left and right have and will always alternate power.
1
Far Left? Has Communism arrived in Europe and I failed to notice?
1
@petruciobr And there's the problem with using a right/left axis to define everything politically. Too simplistic.
1
@sempersuffragium9951 Right-wing parties don't bring the issue forward because they know they would lose the cause... and since you brought up Roe vs. Wade, people in the quite conservative States of Kansas and Kentucky voted to keep the right to abortion in their respective constitutions, which means many traditional right-wing voters will side with the progressives in this particular issue.
1
And for your average far-righters everything that isn't them it's commie.
1
@riki4129 Well, I support most social justice movements so I'm fine. As for economic policies, countries themselves have enough autonomy to pick their economy ways as long as bind to the market economy which is mandatory in order to be a EU member.
1
@ProfessionalBadPerson But Lula won over Bolsonaro... South America will keep swinging left/right as always.
1
@PUR3KKarma Moderate?
1
What?
